Ceasefire between Pakistan and TTP mediated by Afghan Taliban

Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesman Muhammad Khorasani has confirmed a formal ceasefire agreement between the Pakistani government and the TTP.

A month-long ceasefire was signed between the Pakistani government and the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.

Mohammad Khorasani, a spokesman for the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), said talks between the two sides had been initiated by the Afghan Taliban and that they too had agreed to a ceasefire in Pakistan's best interests.

The ceasefire will start on Tuesday and will last until December 9 this year.
