US: 85 dead from Hurricane Ian, damage estimated more than 28 billion dollars

 Residents of the US states of Florida, North and South Carolina are facing strong winds and rains from the raging storm 'Ian'. The death toll from this storm has exceeded 80 and experts say that billions of dollars have been lost so far. On the other hand, people are not satisfied with the relief efforts of government officials.



Officials say that several rescue teams are trying to rescue people in the affected areas and search for missing persons. They say that finding bodies after the water recedes may increase the overall death toll.


When the hurricane hit the coast of Florida on Wednesday, it had sustained winds of 240 kilometers per hour and was a Category 4 storm in terms of strength and intensity. Ian has killed a total of 85 people so far. have been


In Cuba, where Ian wreaked havoc before moving toward Florida, 1.1 million people lost power due to damage to the power supply system. Media reports have indicated that the cyclone has severely damaged the agricultural sector.

Ceasefire between Pakistan and TTP mediated by Afghan Taliban

BY: Salahuddin Salarzai Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) spokesman Muhammad Khorasani has confirmed a formal ceasefire agreement between the Pakistani government and the TTP. A month-long ceasefire was signed between the Pakistani government and the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. Mohammad Khorasani, a spokesman for the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), said talks between the two sides had been initiated by the Afghan Taliban and that they too had agreed to a ceasefire in Pakistan's best interests.  The ceasefire will start on Tuesday and will last until December 9 this year.
